Our Annual November Propagation Workshop
Free California Native Plant Propagation Workshop
Join us for a hands-on workshop to explore propagation techniques for California native plants using cuttings and seeds. Participants will take home pots with slips and seeds ready to grow, ideal for creating a beautiful, water-wise garden.
This outdoor workshop will be held in scenic southern San Benito County. Bring a bag lunch, and dress for getting dirty. Coffee, tea, and snacks are provided!

About the Instructor:
Amelia Ryan has over 20 years of experience in botany and habitat restoration. Since 2017, she has served as the vegetation ecologist at Pinnacles National Park, where she oversees a plant propagation project. Amelia's passion for plants began during her upbringing in rural Sonoma County, and she pursued her love for ecology by earning a BS in Plant Biology from UC Davis and an MS in Ecology from San Francisco State University.
